Dubai, UAE – 23 April 2025 – In a significant milestone underscoring its enduring commitment to community service and spiritual enrichment, Danube Group has officially inaugurated a landmark mosque at National Industries Park (NIP)—the first and only mosque established within the area. This newly unveiled religious and communal facility reflects the Group’s steadfast dedication to fostering unity, faith, and social cohesion.
Occupying an expansive area of approximately 7,000 square meters, the mosque has been thoughtfully designed to accommodate more than 2,000 worshippers, inclusive of indoor and outdoor prayer spaces. To ensure convenience and ease of access for congregants, the facility also includes dedicated parking for over 50 vehicles.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by the presence of several distinguished dignitaries, including His Excellency Eng. Marwan bin Ghalita, Director General of the Dubai Land Department; His Excellency Mr. Ahmed Darwish Al Muhairi, Director General of Islamic Affairs & Charitable Activities; Mr. Abdullah Al Hashmi, Chief Operating Officer, Parks & Zones, DP World GCC; and Mr. Abdulla Belhoul, Chief Executive Officer of TECOM Group. They were joined by Mr. Rizwan Sajan, Founder and Chairman of Danube Group; Mr. Adel Sajan, Group Managing Director; senior executives of Danube Group, esteemed family members, and respected community leaders. The occasion was a dignified celebration of philanthropy, spiritual vision, and responsible corporate leadership.
“The inauguration of this mosque at National Industries Park represents a deeply meaningful and spiritual milestone for us. It is far more than a place of worship—it stands as a powerful symbol of our core values: inclusivity, unity, and service to the community. Through this initiative, we aspire to foster spaces that inspire peace, belonging, and purpose.” Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Rizwan Sajan, Founder and Chairman of Danube Group, said.
This latest development follows the successful delivery of the Majestic Mosque in Dubai Studio City, also spearheaded by Danube Group at a cost of AED 15.56 million. Since its completion, the Majestic Mosque has served as a vital spiritual and social hub for the local community. The new mosque at NIP is envisioned to maintain the same high standards of accessibility, inclusiveness, and architectural excellence.
